2008 Dam Repair

In 2008, the DNR spent $50,000 repairing our dam to maintain current water levels. Unfortunately, the DNR said this was their last attempt at fixing the dam and any other repairs will now be in the hands of the Big Pine Lake Association. We are currently seeking grants and other funds to create a permanent dam structure to maintain Big Pine Lake water levels. This new structure comes with a hefty price tag of $250,000+.
